Elite Classroom Part 3 received a new trailer ahead of its January 2024 release date. Studio Lerche will return to produce season 3. They previously revealed key visuals of the duo that ended up in the season finale previously, Kiyotaka Ayanokoji of class D and Arisu Sakayanagi of class A. They also appear in the new trailer along with the other main cast and you can watch it below:
The third season of Elite class will focus on a special exam that will be held among all classes. The groups will consist of students from various classes and they will have to achieve a cut-off score to avoid expulsion. Students face the challenge of collaborating with students from other classes with whom they are competing. The anime was originally scheduled to premiere in 2023 but was delayed due to various reasons.
This anime is adapted from the light novel by Shogo Kinugasa. The first season debuted in 2017 and had 12 episodes. The second season, announced along with the third season, had a total of 13 episodes and topped our weekly anime chart in the final week of Summer 2022. after Ayanokoji faced off against Ryuen. Kiyotaka Ayanokoji just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei High School, where it is said 100% of students will go to college or find jobs. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of the school’s troublesome kids.
Furthermore, every month, the school rewards students with points worth 100,000 yen, and classes apply a laissez-faire policy that allows talking, sleeping, and even vandalism in class.
One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the Class D students learn the truth about the system going on in their school…
