The following contains key revelations for Chainsaw Man Chapter 132 “The Protection” by Tatsuki Fujimoto, Amanda Haley and Sabrina Heep, now available in English via Viz Media.
Fans can read Chapter 132 of Chainsaw Man as many times as they like, but no, it’s not a fan edit. It’s the truth; it’s classic. There was literally no other way to explain what Denji said. Happy Pride Month, all.
Chainsaw Man is back with Chapter 132, “Protection”, after taking a week off, and Tatsuki Fujimoto is back with an absolute blast. Filled with action, Chapter 132 moves at breakneck speed after the Fallen Devil’s defeat in the previous chapter. This chapter has many plot developments, including the scene where Yoshida kidnaps Denji to “protect” him. In desperation, Denji attempted to negotiate his and Nayuta’s freedom by threatening Yoshida with death and when that didn’t work, he bribed him with a ‘service’. that BL fans are all too familiar with.
Chainsaw Man fans were shocked to the bone
Upon reading the latest chapter, fans exploded with shock and disbelief. One of the things that has always fascinated readers is the unpredictability of Chainsaw Man. I wonder what Fujimoto will think of the next chapter. Judging by the fan reaction, no one in a million years can predict how this chapter will end. Ever since Yoshida’s appearance in Chainsaw Man Part 2, fans have toyed with the theory that the Demon Hunter might have feelings for Denji since he was completely uninterested in Asa when she, as Evil Demon War, brought up the topic of dating him and when Denji became the makeshift chair for Yoshida to sit on. As a result, in Chapter 132, fans praised Fujimoto for “bringing back the evil yaoi yoshida during pride month.”
Yoshida first appeared in Chapter 55 of the manga as part of the team assigned by Makima to protect Denji from other international Demon Hunters who wanted to kill him. Yoshida has a contract with the Demon Octopus where he can summon the Devil’s tentacles to attack his enemies or protect himself from harm. His contract also allows him to use the Octopus Demon’s ink to blind his enemies. Yoshida disappeared after “International Assassins”, reappearing as a recurring character in Season 2.
Fujimoto’s quirky personality has attracted a small fanbase of his own. Although “Fujimoto, creator of Chainsaw Man” is not on social media, at least on paper, he has made his presence known through his sister’s Twitter account. Fujimoto borrowed his sister’s account to directly tweet his reaction to the anime adaptation when it aired in October 2022 and regularly uses it to update fans about what happened in his life. The last tweet @/nagayama_koharu wrote was on June 9, they wrote that their mask smelled much better that day.
Fans will have to wait until June 20 to read Chapter 133 of Chainsaw Man to see how Denji and Yoshida’s relationship will unfold.
