A creative Chainsaw Man fan has created an outstanding cosplay of the Devil Contract holder.
Created and uploaded on Reddit by popular cosplayer Kerocchi, the outfit features Himeno’s stylish black suit and signature eyepatch. The low angle and the delicately balanced inclusion of a cigarette between two fingers convey an attitude that is generally cold and cocky.
Chainsaw Man Cosplay Impressive Fans
Himeno isn’t the only fan-favorite Chainsaw Man character that has inspired some dramatic cosplay cases recently. For example, another costume maker posted a photo of an accurate Reze rendition of the manga that highlights Bomb Girl’s intense green eyes. Furthermore, cosplay icon Grayson Finn showcased his interpretations of Kishibe, the captain of Task Force Tokyo 4. One version shows the character smoking and another shows him holding one. bloody knife; both have prominent scars on Kishibe’s face.
Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man manga debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump in December 2018 before moving to Shōnen Jump+ in 2020, where it continued to be serialized. The story focuses on Denji, an extremely poor young man forced to pay off a huge debt by taking on dangerous and deadly jobs. However, after his gangster bosses betray him, Denji finds himself employed by a shady government organization. As part of the Public Safety Department, Denji works with other Demon Hunters like Himeno and uses his unique powers to turn his limbs into chainsaws to hunt down monsters.
Chainsaw Man tops NYT bestseller list
Although Chainsaw Man premiered relatively recently, Fujimoto’s series has already come up with classics like Hiro Mashima’s Rave Master and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto’s Neon Genesis Evangelion as one of the best-selling manga. all time with more than 23 million copies in circulation worldwide. It also won the Best Manga category at the Harvey Awards in both 2021 and 2022, and it has appeared on the NYT Bestsellers list multiple times.
Studio MAPPA’s Chainsaw Man (Jujutsu Kaisen) anime adaptation originally aired its first season from October to December 2022. It stars Kikunosuke Toya as Denji with Mariya Ise (Fairy Tail) as the role. Himeno, Shogo Sakata (Fire Force) as Aki, Tomori Kusunoki (The Misfit at Demon King Academy) as Makima and Fairouz Ai (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs) as Power. At the time of writing, it is unclear whether the Chainsaw Man anime will receive a second season as the home video release has underperformed.
