The inevitable happened and Denji finally transformed into Chainsaw Man. Well, he was forced to become one, not because he wanted to. But our wish to see Denji transform into Chainsaw Man once again has finally come true. But I honestly didn’t envision it this way.
I was really sad to see Denji lose his will and turn into Chainsaw Man. It seems like those who want Denji to become Chainsaw Man again have some hidden meaning. We see Mirio and the guy we thought was dead is actually still alive and says they’re stopping Nostradamus’s prophecy.
Something big is really about to happen because there are a lot of loose ends and we really can’t figure out where all of this is going. All we can do now is wait for the new chapters of the series and see where the story will lead.
Chainsaw Man Chapter 152 will be the next part of the series, however, it will be a few weeks before this chapter will be released. To be more precise, this chapter will take an extra week to be released compared to the usual release.
Although this is unfortunate, the new year is coming so many things will be delayed. However, come the new year we will see a new phase of the current arc and we can’t really hope to see what Fujimoto has in store.

Summary and review
The chapter continues with Fumiko and the other members of the Public Safety department being attacked by demons while the surprise entrance of Mirio and the other guy who was seemingly killed by Quaxi returns.
Mirio grabs Fumiko and as Denji is still in shock after seeing his house and pets burned, Mirio begins to explain that they are doing this for a better future. All this is to stop Nostradamu’s prophecy. Denji still doesn’t understand and Mirio proves he will turn into a chainsaw if he gets angry as this will also help them stop the said prophecy.
Barem also stood up and Nayuta was angry when she saw him awake and used her powers to control her ex but Barem refused her control and said that he could do it because he was probably still under Makima’s control. He grabbed her neck and said that if Makima was still alive, everything would go according to their plan.
She could have used Chainsaw Man to defeat the demon of death and an orderly, peaceful world would have emerged. However, Chainsaw Man killed her and this is how they plan to punish him.
Nayuta escapes Barem’s custody by using his control on a nearby Public Safety Member, who shoots him again while Denji gets angry and puts his hand in his chest to pull the trigger to transform into a chainsaw man. Before doing so, Denji remembers Pochita once again pulling the trigger and transforming into Chainsaw Man.
