Chainsaw Man Chapter 132 Summary
The most recent release of the popular series — Chapter 132 — continues directly from the previous season, starting with Nayuta at school. She used her powers of control to get her friends’ desserts before the kids started discussing all the students who were absent. Then armed men stormed the school and arrested Nayuta. Meanwhile, Asa wakes up in the hospital to see the deaths and injuries resulting from her and Denji’s encounter with the Fallen Demon. She then watched TV and saw Haruka Iseumi trying to recruit people for his group “The Chainsaw People’s Association for World Peace” on it.
The story then shifts to Denji, who has been stripped and tied to a chair. Hirofumi Yoshida tells the main character that he is happy to have “protected” him. Denji becomes angry at this and asks to know the whereabouts of Asa, Nayuta and the dogs, to which Yoshida responds by saying that they are also being “protected”. Denji threatens to kill him before mockingly offering sexual favors as a thank you. This eerie final moment caused a stir in the Chainsaw Man fan community.
Fujimoto’s irreverent series is one of the most popular new generation productions in the animation industry, often associated with Hell’s Paradise and Jujutsu Kaisen as part of the “Shonen Dark Trio”. Despite the manga’s continued success, the anime adaptation of Studio MAPPA received poor DVD sales. This is most notable following recent rumors that the anime’s adult parody is said to have outsold the main series. However, Chainsaw Man fans are still supporting the property, with a community of fans continuing to create unique pieces of art, including illustrations inspired by CSM Legend of Zelda : Tears of the Kingdom.
Studio MAPPA’s cartoons are available to watch on Crunchyroll. The manga can be read on the VIZ Media website.
