The BURN THE WITCH prequel anime titled BURN THE WITCH #0.8 has revealed the final countdown image before the global premiere today (December 29), as well as a quick summary video of the first anime. Studio Colorido previously revealed some pre-launch illustrations on their X-files, and you can check out the final look below.

The new anime will adapt the prequel one-shot manga chapter 0.8. titled “Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover,” was published four chapters in advance and then compiled with them in the first volume. It’s another work from BLEACH creator Tite Kubo, and it’s set in the same universe. Studio Colorido (Team Yamahitsuji) will produce the animation, and Tatsuro Kawano also returns to direct.
The anime first premiered as a film divided into 3 episodes on October 2, 2020. They are distributed on Amazon Prime Video and Hikari TV in Japan and worldwide on Crunchyroll (excluding some countries). family). It ends with the reveal of ‘Soul Society’s Western Branch’, confirming that Noel and Ninny are living in the same universe as Ichigo and co. BURN THE WITCH was first published as a one-shot manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2018. It began being published weekly on August 24 and is 4 chapters long. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and they describe the story: Historically, 72% of deaths in London have involved dragons, fantasy creatures invisible to the majority of people. Although most people did not know it, some people rose up against these dragons. Only residents of Reverse London who live on the hidden “reverse” side of London can see the dragons. The main characters of the story are the witch duo Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are protection agents for Wing Bind. Their mission is to protect and manage the dragons in London on behalf of the people.
