Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will begin streaming the English dub for director Hiroko Utsumi and the original anime Bucchigiri?! on Saturday.
The English voice cast includes:
Alex Mai as Arajin Chris Guerrero as Senya Ricco Fajardo as Matakara Lindsay Seidel as Mahoro Daniel Van Thomas as Zabu James Marler as Komao
Lee George is directing the voiceover with Zach Bolton serving as producer. Dallas Reid is credited for the adaptation. William Dewell was the coordinator and Ian Emerson was the engineer.
The anime premiered in Japan on January 13. Crunchyroll will stream the anime as it airs.
The”yankee x Arabian Nights” focuses on Arajin Tomoshibi, who reunites with his former best friend named Matakara Asamine. Their meeting unleashes a series of battles against powerful opponents.
In addition to directing, Utsumi is also credited with the original story with script supervisor and screenwriter Taku Kishimoto, MAPPA and TOHO. Takahiro Kagami serves as character designer and is one of the main animation directors along with Hiroyuki Saita and Kiminori Itō. Michiru Oshima is composing the music and Hiromi Kikuta is the sound director.
Kroi will perform the show’s opening theme song “Sesame”. Mahiru Coda will perform the ending theme song of the movie “Love Je t’aime”.
Utsumi and MAPPA previously worked together on the anime Banana Fish. Utsumi has also directed anime such as Free!-Iwatobi Swimming Club, Free! Eternal Summer and both seasons of the original Sk8 the Infinity anime.
