The Naruto universe is back with a bang as Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 2 hits bookstores.
An announcement was made on Twitter along with a new trailer. After the end of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations earlier this year, fans were promised that Boruto Uzumaki would leave Konoha, preparing for a confrontation with Code and Kawkai. Now, with Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, we witness a stronger Boruto and action in the ongoing Homecoming Arc.
In the opening chapter, viewers are reintroduced to a transformed Konoha Village, three years since the first series ended. The stakes are high when Boruto returns to the village as a fugitive, motivated by his mission to stop Code’s latest threat.
Now, as Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 2 begins, the story begins seamlessly, unraveling the escalating threat. Boruto’s evolution through rigorous training is clearly shown when he confronts Code head-on. This chapter also sets the stage for a huge, drawn-out battle to keep fans engaged in the upcoming chapters.
Boruto is a spin-off and sequel to Masashi Kishimoto’s fan-favorite Naruto manga and chronicles the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki’s son, Boruto Uzumaki, and his team of ninjas. The series debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine under the title Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, in May 2016, with Ukyo Kodachi as author and Kishimoto as supervising editor. However, in November 2020, Kodachi resigned and Kishimoto took over as screenwriter.
Including 6 parts divided into 80 chapters, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations ended in April this year. Although it was initially announced that the manga might be on hiatus, it was soon resumed with Boruto: Two Blue Vortex in August. Subsequent chapters are expected to be released monthly. Additionally, the ongoing story will be adapted into an anime, after the first season ends in March 2023.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 2 is now available to read on Viz Media’s digital Shonen Jump library.
