Kawaki meets Mitsuki, and the scene switches back to Boruto and Sarada. When Boruto reported news about Sasuke for Sarada, Kawaki notices his presence. Boruto explains that everyone turning into a magical tree brings them bad news.
Meanwhile, Mitsuki knocks out Kawaki and asks Shikamaru to locate Boruto. Shikamaru immediately informed Boruto that he would soon have a companion. Soon after, he was attacked by Mitsuki.
Boruto escapes by Flying Raijin Technique her, and Mitsuki doesn’t listen to Sarada. The battle between Mitsuki and Boruto begins with Mitsuki aggressively attacking Boruto.
Meanwhile, Boruto pointed find a way to escape from him and somehow managed to escape. Shikamaru also continued talking about Boruto, asking him if he was Uzumaki Boruto.
Shikamaru thinks there are many things that make sense for Boruto and Kawaki’s positions to be swapped. But he doesn’t understand this until Amado says that his memories might be fabricated.
Meanwhile, Mitsuki followed Boruto, waiting chance to attack. The chapter ends with Boruto saying that he has to be tough with Mitsuki now.

Things are getting more and more interesting, as now even Shikamaru has doubts about his memories. This is exactly what we would expect from the smartest Hokage of all time, Shikamaru. Although he understood a bit late, he still had some doubts.
That’s why he wanted Ino to make a specific connection to talk to Boruto. He also more doubtful about how people’s memories are created and the flow of events.
Shikamaru also wanted to help Boruto after realizing this. Now, all that remains is to witnesshorrifying encounter between Mitsuki and Boruto in the next chapter. Mitsuki did not hold back, and neither does Boruto now.
Now that he and Mitsuki are alone, he can go full force instead of just escaping Mitsuki’s attack. Putting this aside, we understand Eida’s omnipotence not too specialas many characters have doubts about their memories.
This spell is possible broken sooner than expected when Boruto or the Ten-Tails discovered Naruto’s location.
