With the recent release of the new chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, many fans think that the series may have certain changes for Sarada in the future. However, there are some people who think that this is not the direction of Sarada's character. Due to many different opinions, the Boruto fan community is divided over Sarada's controversial change.
Chapter 8 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has been released and features many main characters, including Sarada. The end of the chapter also implies that Himawari may have inherited Naruto's tailed beast chakra.
In light of this development, some fans are theorizing that like Himawari, Sarada could also inherit Sasuke's Six Paths chakra. According to this theory, with both Indra and Ashura's chakra present in the Six Paths chakra, Sasuke's daughter would only need to undergo a traumatic and life-threatening experience to awaken the Rinnegan.
Sarada has the advantage of being the daughter of Sasuke, the reincarnation of Indra, and received special chakra from Hagoromo during the Fourth Shinobi World War in Naruto. Thanks to her lineage, she seemed to have a chance to approach the Rinnegan.

In a discussion on Reddit, a fan commented: “It must be Sarada because she is the only Uchiha clan member alive today. And possibly the next owner of the Rinnegan, if this theory and several others are correct.”
Although this is an interesting theory, many Boruto fans disagree with it and come up with their own logic. One fan pointed out: “I mean Indra is Hagoromo's son and he doesn't have the Rinnegan. Even he only has 25% Otsutsuki lineage. Also no one ever mentioned Sarada's chakra being special in any way.”
Another fan also did not believe this theory, about Sarada's upcoming change in Boruto part 2 and wrote: “You all like to ignore what Hagoromo said: 'No matter how special parents are, there is no guarantee that children will inherit their abilities'. Stop trying to push this fateful story on Sarada.”
Boruto part 2 becomes more and more fierce than the prequel and the main characters are all strengthened. However, whether this controversial change for Sarada is what Boruto season 2 has in store for her in the future is still unclear.
