Boruto's English dub had a troubled release due to COVID-19 and distributor changes
The Boruto anime has had a difficult time getting its English dub out. CBR's When Will Boruto's New Episodes Be Dubbed – and Where Can They Be Streamed? explores this in detail, noting how a change in distributors and the COVID-19 pandemic have contributed to the slow release. However, this has picked up recently, with the last two box sets launching in March and November of last year respectively. Popular anime streaming service Hulu continues to add new subbed and dubbed Boruto episodes, reaching 210 as of June 1, 2024. Notably, Hulu has confirmed that all 500 Naruto episodes will be available to stream on the platform by early 2025.
