Key visuals and release date were also revealed along with the main trailer. Metallic Rouge is scheduled to release on January 10, 2024to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Studio BONES.
Studio BONES kicks off its 25th year with a bang
Metallic Rouge is described as a “technological” story.
Metallic Rouge is a collaboration between Studio BONES and producer Yutaka Izubuchi, the character designer of the movie Evangelion. Hori Motonobu, an experienced animator who worked on My Hero Academia, Psycho-Pass, and Sword Art Online, will direct and direct the anime. Toshizou Nemoto will be responsible for the script, and considering he wrote the script for multiple episodes of Steins Gate, a show praised for its story, Metallic Rouge is in very good hands. Furthermore, Your Name and Suzume sound director Haru Yamada will oversee the sound design.
The cast is huge, with famous voice actors like Kenjiro Tsuda (Nanami in Jujutsu Kaisen, Kishibe in Chainsaw Man) voicing Afdar Bashar.
