GREEN LOCK MOVIE – NAGI EPISODE is an upcoming prequel and spin-off film of the famous BLUE LOCK franchise. 8bit animation; Based on the manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro & Kota Sannomiya
The trailer for BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE – EPISODE NAGI doesn't show much but it does provide a clear look at what to expect from Nagi. Befitting his role as the main character, GREEN LOCK MOVIE – NAGI EPISODE looks like it will delve deeper into what makes Nagi who she is and a deeper exploration of his thoughts on the events of the story. Overall, that type of writing could greatly benefit Nagi and the BLUE LOCK anime, so seeing it in action would definitely be awesome for both old and new fans.
Blue Lock's new movie needs to fix Anime's biggest problem
The story of BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE – EPISODE NAGI will definitely be great, but more than that, the movie needs to fix the anime's biggest problem: the animation. While BLUE LOCK's manga became an instant hit thanks to its revolutionary approach to many sports and shounen genres, the anime, while still successful, was criticized for the animation and visuals are largely lackluster for most of its runtime, especially compared to the kinetic artwork of the BLUE LOCK manga. Anime movies often have better animation than TV shows, so hopefully that won't be a problem with EPISODE NAGI.
The fact that the movie BLUE LOCK has better animation than part 1 will also be a good sign for the upcoming part 2. With the huge development of BLUE LOCK and how long it will be before part 2 is released, there are a lot of expectations for its quality, and as such, GREEN LOCK MOVIE – NAGI EPISODE Improved animations may indicate that 8bit will try to make things better for part 2. That will add a lot to the BLUE LOCK brand going forward and with any luck, GREEN LOCK MOVIE – NAGI EPISODE will provide all that and more.
