The real joy of Blue Lock is back, where we will see Hiori in action. Hiroi predicted the outcome of the match better than Isagi and Kaiser. When Kaiser and Isagi were about to win the ball back, Hiori was still patiently waiting for the right moment to steal the ball. Let’s not waste any more time and see what happened in the Blue Lock Chapter 233.
Blue Lock Chapter 233 Spoiler
This chapter begins with Hiroi’s back story, where we see his parents taking him to the doctor after he was injured in a match. His parents acted overprotective over a minor injury. They were more worried about their dream of making Hiori the best player.
In the next panel, we can see Hiori playing a game, but from the looks of it we can see that he doesn’t like playing it. From that day on, Hiori was no longer loved by her parents but by her talent.
His reason for playing Soccer has changed since he started playing Soccer because his parents were happy, but now he only does it for the disgusting reason of not letting his family fall apart. Besides, he has no reason to play football.
Hiroi Reasons to play soccer!
In another flashback, we see Hiori talking to Karasu (his former teammate). Karasu tells him that he can think about what others think later. Therefore, first of all, he needs to think about himself and expect from himself nothing else that can excite him.
Hiori thinks that he cannot think about himself because for him, expectations are nothing more than a curse. He came to Blue Lock for only one reason: to escape his parents, who had cursed him. Now he doesn’t want to go, doesn’t want to come back, and that’s his only ego, and that’s how he’s survived so far.
Hiori is looking for a new reason to play soccer
Then cuts to present time where we can see Isagi and Hiori moving towards Sendou and Rachi blocking him from the front. Sendou had no other choice but passed the ball to Barou. While Isagi was rushing to get the ball back, Hiori was calmly thinking about what to do next. Hiroi noticed that Barou was attracting people towards him.
He thinks Barou is selfish and crazy, but he is a person with will and talent who deserves to be loved. The number one striker in the world must be someone with such qualities. However, he doesn’t have all that. A person has an ego that needs to be loved but does not have big ambitions like wanting to become number one in the world.
Hiori becomes the Key to Isagi’s score!
But he still found it: someone who looks to the future like the world’s number one. The key to Isagi Yoichi’s awakening is in his hands and only he has it. And if he hadn’t gone to Blue Lock, he wouldn’t have met him. Only he could have found that chance encounter.
And that will be the reason for you to fight. Hiori knows Isagi has the potential to become the number one striker in the world, but if he misses the opportunity on this stage, Isagi’s talent could be buried and disappear. So he will become the key, and if for that future, he wants to live. He will crown Isagi Yoichi as king.
The Birth of the Selfish Hiroi!
We then see Uber move around by keeping the ball within their control. Lorenzo stepped between Ness and Raichi so he stopped there for a moment. But at that moment, Isagi and Kaiser rushed towards him to steal the ball. Seeing Isagi and Kaiser coming towards him, Lorenzo passed the ball to Barou. Isagi was frustrated because he almost stole the ball.
However, when Lorenzo passed the ball to Barou, Hiroi did not come in. So, before Barou could get the ball, Hiori took it from the middle. Hiori calls Isagi and asks him if they should go. This chapter ends with the reveal of the next Chapter’s title, Stage.
