Isagi Yoichi finally scored his first goal in the Neo Egoist League, putting his team ahead of the seemingly invincible Italy Ubers defence. Ubers target Canali is shocked to see the sudden change in Yoichi’s playstyle. An unidentified strike pattern with his left foot to land a shot straight on goal is something the Ubers don’t even mention in their data, so this was a big surprise for them. .
Canali asks Yoichi what he has done in such a short period of time to improve so much, and so we are flashed back to 5 days ago. Yoichi visits Kunigami in the gym to ask for his help during training. Yoichi expressed concern about his current playing style and the fact that he is only good at shooting with his right foot, so he needed Kunigami to teach him how to be a two-footed shooter.
Kunigami felt disgust at this sudden request and immediately refused Yoichi’s request. Yoichi still insisted on at least training with him. He challenges Kunigami to a duel like before, and Chigiri joins in the fun. Chigiri also suggested Yoichi to join to make it a 2v2 match as he wanted to improve his speed to improve it further.
Yoichi catches up with these training methods of Chigiri and Bachira as he thinks about how both have gotten better by making small changes to their weapons instead of completely changing their playstyle. . He now realizes that he needs a new secondary weapon to complement his “Direct Shot” weapon rather than being a bipedal.
