During the Anime Expo 2024 panel event for Blue Exorcist, a new key visual and trailer were revealed for the anime's upcoming sequel, Blue Exorcist: Beyond the Snow Saga.
The new anime will air consecutively for half a year starting in October 2024, followed by Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga in January 2025. Crunchyroll will stream both seasons as they air in Japan.

Blue Exorcist previously returned for a third season of Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga, which aired starting in January 2024. It was directed by Daisuke Yoshida (Idol Incidents) at VOLN, which is returning to produce two new sequels.
The first two seasons aired in 2011 and 2017, while a film was released in 2012. The previous anime was produced by A-1 Pictures.
The original manga by Kazue Kato began serialization in Jump Square on April 4, 2009 and has released 31 tankobon volumes as of June 2024.
