BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Season 3: Conflict Anime will premiere on October 5 as previously announced. PIERROT FILMS, formerly known as Pierrot's second studio, will produce the highly anticipated sequel. Check out the updated version of the key visual with the new date:
Studio Pierrot previously produced the original television anime adaptation of Tite Kubo's BLEACH manga, which aired from October 2004 to March 2012 for a total of 366 episodes. VIZ Media licensed it in English, and they describe the BLEACH: TYBWA story:
The peace is suddenly broken when sirens sound throughout Soul Society. The residents there are disappearing without a trace and no one knows who is behind it, meanwhile, a dark figure is also approaching Ichigo and his friends in Karakura Town…
The first trailer for season 3 was revealed at Jump Festa, along with the announcement of the BLEACH: Arrancar the Beginning musical. The musical will also premiere in 2024 and will be the first musical for the franchise since 2015. The BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls console game was also announced at Anime Expo 2024.
