Bleach: The thousand-year blood war has been an exciting return for the Bleach series as fans eagerly await more. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War part 2 ended on a rather tense note as Squad Zero's battle with Yhwach came to a close and then the episode went black with only five minutes left. A post-credits scene appears, which is not unusual for Bleach but seems to have been done at the wrong time. Now, as fans eagerly await the third arena, they are plagued with many questions about what will happen next and what the vision for the third arena will look like.
Five months ago, Viz Media released a new trailer for Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War on YouTube, showcasing what's to come in season 3, including the cast of characters who will return for the first time in the season. Thousand years of blood war. The character is fan favorite Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, who many anime-only fans assumed died after his battle with Ichigo in Hueco Mundo.
He makes a very small appearance in trial 2 but his screen time is extremely short. fans could only assume it was him because of seeing a small image of his belly.
How Grimmjow survived the final battle with Ichigo

Grimmjow's last appearance in Bleach was during his battle with Ichigo in Hueco Mundo after refusing to admit defeat to Ichigo. He declares that anyone who disrespects him will be crushed, as he stands above Ichigo ready to unleash his strongest attack, known as Desgarrón. Ichigo was able to destroy Desgarrón and stab Grimmjow, successfully defeating him. Ichigo gently placed Grimmjow's body on the floor. He was then nearly killed by teammate Espada Nnoitra and his body was left on the floor as fans last saw him on screen.
This appears to be Grimmjow's last appearance in the series and it is unknown how Grimmjow survived. The theory goes that during Ichigo's battle with Nnoitra and Ulquiorra, Grimmjow managed to recover some of his power and went into hiding to heal himself. He was able to heal himself by absorbing the Reishi in Hueco Mundo and by eating other Hollows. This allowed him to survive the injuries he sustained and even gain some power by constantly eating low-level Hollows. In Court 2, Kisuke is seen trying to hide Grimmjow from Ichigo, which makes fans curious about the nature of their relationship.

Grimmjow's abilities will be a great aid against Yhwach
Tite Kubo, the creator of Bleach, wouldn't bring Grimmjow back if he didn't have big plans for him in the future. He's not exactly an ally of Ichigo and Soul Society, but he sees Yhwach as a common enemy, along with wanting something in return. He's proven to have incredible durability, taking a Bankai-enhanced Getsuga Tenshō from Ichigo and only getting a scar on his chest.
Hand-to-hand combat, enhanced speed, and Grimmjow's Resurrection Ability are just some of the abilities that will be showcased in version 3. There's good reason to believe that fans may have a chance see some new possibilities that have never been seen before. Despite the history between Ichigo and Grimmjow, they share a common goal. Hueco Mundo's invasion of Quincy affects Grimmjow because he wants to protect his home. giving him the chance to settle the score with Ichigo. Throughout the series, he is always motivated by a desire for power, as he despises being looked down upon and he wants to prove that he is strong.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Cour 3 will also give fans a look at how Grimmjow has changed over time and how his character has developed. His character's backstory remains unresolved. There's still room to explore more of his redemption, and the Thousand-Year Blood War storyline could provide the perfect backdrop for Grimmjow will develop further as a character, potentially leading to viewing him as a protector of Hueco Mundo.
Many Grimmjow fans want to see his abilities increase and one of the ways this could happen is if he learns Segunda Etapa or the second form of Resurrection.
