Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War part 2 comes to an end
One of the key things that has fans excited going into this second season is that Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will finally bring the manga’s ultimate villain to life through Yhwach. The villain has big plans for Soul Society and threatens the balance between all realms. In recent episodes, without going into spoilers, he’s taken some big steps toward making his goals a reality. There are also big battles, significant betrayals, the return of classic Bleach characters, etc.
The two-part finale will air simultaneously on Hulu in the United States as a one-hour special. Fans who haven’t seen Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War can still catch up on the first batch of episodes and most of Part 2 before the two-part finale premieres at the end of the month. Bleach is part of the “Shonen Big Three.” It is hailed as one of the biggest and best manga series ever created, along with Naruto and One Piece.
Due to the popularity and boom of anime in the West, all three were adapted into anime that were released worldwide and are very popular. However, Bleach’s run in both the manga and anime was cut short for very different reasons. The manga series’ release was ended by author Tite Kubo, who discontinued the series due to poor health. The anime ended without adapting the final season, which is why this modern revival is so important. Plus, thanks to Kubo’s improved health, he’s working on many parts of the story that he wasn’t able to adapt in the manga into the anime to make the ending truly memorable for fans.
