When are Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War episodes released?
For the US, new episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War premiere on Hulu, while in much of the rest of the world they can be found on Disney Plus. New episodes are released at 7:30 a.m. Pacific time or 10:30 a.m. Eastern time, and episode number 24 is scheduled to air at that time on Saturday, September 23, 2019. 2023. Dubbed episodes are now about three weeks behind the subtitled releases, which also release on Saturdays. Fans who can’t watch right away need not worry, as the episodes will of course be available to stream any time after their initial release.
What happened in Bleach: The Thousand Year Blood War Episode #23?
Episode #23 of The Thousand Year Blood War continues the battle between Mayuri and his zombies and Giselle and her zombies. Mayuri pulled off a particularly nasty trick, locking the zombified Hitsugaya in a time loop that reset each time he killed Mayuri. It is revealed that Kensei, Rose, and Rangiku were also turned into zombies by Giselle, but Mayuri was able to use a special concoction to control her zombies and ultimately defeat her. Meanwhile, Byakuya faces three Sternritter alone, which he handles with relative ease, and then faces Sternritter PePe, who attacks without regard for enemies or allies and is eventually killed by a fellow Sternritter.
Bleach: The Millennium Blood War Episode #24 will finally feature Yhwach Vs. Squad number 0
Yhwach completed his ascent to the Soul King’s Palace at the end of issue #23, and his confrontation with Squad Zero will be the first major battle for the legendary Soul Reapers. First will be Tenjiro Kiriji, master of the hot springs, ready to welcome Yhwach, Uryu and Haschwalth upon their arrival. Ichigo and friends are soon behind as Kisuke Urahara takes them back to the Soul King’s Palace to help. Squad Zero may be legends of Soul Society, but do they have enough power to succeed where even Captain Yamamoto failed?
The end of these Bleach episodes is quickly approaching, with the two-episode finale set to release at the end of the month, just like the first season. The conflict between the Quincy and the Soul Society is reaching its climax and Yhwach’s goals remain a mystery to both the Soul Reapers and the audience. Whatever that reality is, however, he’s closer than ever to realizing it, which means stopping him here is extremely important.
