Bandai's Latest Bleach Toy Is a Perfect Replica of Ichigo's Zangetsu Sword
“The Zanpakuto Tensa Zangetsu used by the protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki is now available in approximately 1/1 size,” the product description reads. “It comes equipped with a voice input gimmick and a vibration gimmick that reproduces the increase in spiritual pressure in response to the activated voice! Experience the ultimate Tensa Zangetsu, recording the history of Ichigo Kurosaki's battles with your own hands!” In addition to new lines from the anime, the Zanpakuto even has three anime opening theme songs recorded specifically for the product.
The 1 minute and 35 second TV version of “ALONES” by Aqua Timez (the anime’s sixth opening) is included in Zanpakuto, along with the two minute long theme song “Number One (vocal version)” by Shiro Sagisu and Hazel Fernandes. Sagisu continued to be involved in the production of the Bleach anime, creating the memorable song that accompanied Rukia Kuchiki’s “Ice Queen” transformation in Episode 19 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. The song “Slip Away (Never Meant To Belong)” is performed by Ian Pitter. This song, along with many songs from Bleach: TYBW, was collected in the album Overture – on the precipice of failure, which is available on various music streaming services such as Spotify and YouTube Music.
