Manga Black Clover
Written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata, Black Clover first began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2015 and has since released a total of 36 volumes. The series moved to Jump GIGA magazine in December 2023 to give Tabata a healthier schedule following recent health concerns. VIZ Media received the English license for the series and has published the first 34 volumes with Volume 35 scheduled for release on May 7.
The Black Clover manga currently has over 19 million copies in circulation as of March 2024.
VIZ Media describes the plot of Black Clover as follows: Asta is a boy who dreams of becoming the greatest magician in the kingdom. There's just one problem—he can't use any magic! Luckily for Asta, he receives an extremely rare five-leaf clover grimoire that gives him anti-magic powers. Can someone who can't use magic really become the Sorcerer King? One thing is certain—Asta will never give up!
