Warning: Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King Content Revealed A plot with incredible potential in the world black clover manga but didn’t achieve what it could get only getting the treatment it always deserves in indie film Black Clover: Sword of the Sorcerer King. The film takes place shortly after the Sorcerer King Julius successfully suspends the execution of Asta for cavalry with the devil by exiled him along with the Black Bulls.
In Sword of the Wizard King, only Asta is exiled instead of the entire Black Bulls team, and because a tournament that doesn’t take place in the manga coincides with his expulsion in the movie, Asta can only participate by doing so. registered with a pseudonym and wore a mask so that no one would recognize him. Meanwhile, his Black Bulls friends can comfortably watch in the stands without worrying about being seen. All of this makes for a movie that really fixes a flawed plot in the manga.
Black Clover’s Manga Makes It All Too Easy For Asta
Witnessing Asta having to sneak around the Clover Kingdom during his exile is something the manga would benefit from but can’t explore based on how the punishment comes into effect starting in chapter #219 of Black Clover by mangaka Yuki Tabata. Although Asta and the Black Bulls were exiled, Julius allowed them to roam freely around the kingdom without any further consequences so they could prepare for the mission he gave them. This isn’t as compelling as Asta (and the Black Bulls) having to infiltrate their own realm and move incognito as criminals.
The entire ordeal of Asta being exiled and possibly receiving the death penalty in the manga ended too quickly. This is partly due to the short time Asta and the Black Bulls stayed in the kingdom peacefully before disappearing into the Kingdom of Hearts, where they eventually underwent their longest training ever. Today, Black Clover is fortunate to have ignored it. And once Asta arrived to save the Clover Kingdom from the demons, his accusations were understandably forgotten. The fact that the main architect of Asta Damnation’s execution later died further eliminates the possibility of any such discomfort re-emerging, thus eliminating the conflict the film explores.
Black Clover’s Manga Has A Thing On The Movie
The movie still wouldn’t be a hit even if it honored part of the manga’s original plot by letting the kingdom allow Asta to arrange his affairs before his exile officially took effect. There won’t be a chance for him to sneak in after his quest begins as it takes him deep inside the Heart Kingdom. Meanwhile, the film suggests that Asta was always nearby during his deportation to allow him to illegally participate in a tournament when this did not happen because his mission brought him in. where do we go.
In the manga, the Black Bulls also won’t be able to watch the tournament as they also went with him to the Kingdom of Hearts with Mimosa, the tournament announcer in the movie. But that’s where the real trouble lies with the original plot remake of Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King. The black clover the manga was right to expel the Black Bulls as it would result in Black Bulls member Magna Swing breaking a stagnant shounen formula based on the training he received during his exile.
