The upcoming fourth season of the Black Butler anime, titled Public School Arc, has revealed new key art and confirmed an April 13 premiere date. Studio CloverWorks is animating the highly anticipated sequel. Book of the Atlantic expectations.

Kenjiro Okada (March Comes in Like a Lion) will direct the anime, with Hiroyuki Yoshino directing the series composition. Yumi Shimizu is in charge of character design. Ryo Kawasaki is composing music. Maaya Sakamoto and Daisuke Ono will return as Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis.
The new Black Butler animated film comes seven years after the series’ latest installment, the film Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic. The film was animated by A-1 Pictures, the company that also worked on all the previous installments. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and describes the plot as follows:
Ciel Phantomhive is the most powerful man in England, but he bears the scars of unspeakable suffering. Forced to witness the brutal murder of his beloved parents, Ciel is then kidnapped and brutally tortured. Desperate to end his suffering, the boy traded his own soul for a chance at revenge, entrusting his destiny to someone he could trust: Sebastian, a demon possessed by Butler. Summoned from the very depths of hell. Together, they will roam the darkest alleys of London on a mission to destroy those with evil intentions.
Anime adaptation of Yana Toboso’s Black Butler manga. The manga has been serialized on G Fantasy since 2008.
