Warner Bros. Japan has confirmed that Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League, the exciting new sequel to the original Batman Ninja animated film, is currently in production.
Through a press release, Warner Bros. Japan revealed on May 30, 2024 that a sequel to 2018's Batman Ninja was in the works. Kamikaze Douga will produce the film alongside Warner and serve as the animation studio. Jumpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takagi return as directors, with Kazuki Nakashima writing the script, Takashi Okazaki designing the characters, and Yugo Kanno providing the music. Legendary voice actor Koichi Yamadera (Dragon Ball, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Sword Art Online) returns as the voice of Batman.
