Pre-registration begins on Tuesday
The IDOLM@STER franchise announced a brand new game app called Gakuen Idolm@ster (Academy Idolm@ster) on a livestream on Tuesday. The game is scheduled to release this spring on iOS and Android devices. Pre-registration for the game also officially began on Tuesday. The live broadcast revealed the first promotional video and staff of the new game, and introduced the cast and three idols who will appear in the game.

In the game, the player is a producer who cultivates and trains idol talents from the Hsuboshi Gakuen idol training school. The game features nine idols that players can create:

The latest anime in the series is a television anime based on Bandai Namco Entertainment’s The IDOLM@ STER Shiny Colors browser game. The first 12-episode season was shown in theaters as three films. The first film opens in Japan from October 27 to November 16. The second film opens in Japan on November 24 and runs until December 14. The third film opens from December 5 January to January 25. The film will then air as a TV series in April. The second season will air in the fall after screening as three films in theaters in Japan . The first film will run from July 5 to July 25, the second from August 23 to September 12, and the third from September 20 to October 10.
