After nearly a decade since its debut in 2013, the Attack on Titan anime is finally about to reach its long-awaited peak. Based on the best-selling manga by Hajime Isayama, the series chronicles humanity’s desperate efforts to survive in a world dominated by bloodthirsty giants known as Titans. Part 1 details the tragic aftermath of The Rumbling, a cataclysmic event perpetrated by series protagonist Eren Jaeger intended to end humanity’s periodic wars. Now, Armin, Mikasa and their Survey Corps members must confront Eren, who has taken on a terrifying new form, to end the conflict once and for all. In September, Attack on Titan: The Final Season released a new trailer for the episode, showcasing part of the climactic final showdown.
