According to the latest information just posted by GameRant, the next game in the famous Assassin's Creed series will be officially released this year. This project is currently still called Assassin's Creed “Red” (not the official name).
Red will be the next major release in the hit Assassin's Creed series, following the success of Assassin's Creed Valhalla in 2020 and Assassin's Creed Mirage in 2023. Developer Marc-Alexis Cote, who served as creative director and producer producer of some of the best Assassin's Creed games, described Red as Ubisoft's new hope in the coming years. Set in Japan, Assassin's Creed Red will take players to the feudal era full of soldiers and swords in the land of the rising sun.
Over the past 15 years, Assassin's Creed has taken players to many parts of the world, including almost every continent, from Asia, Europe, America and recently Africa. However, Japan is still a place that Assassin's Creed has never been to. The new version called Red will change this. Players will be transformed into a powerful Shinobi and a story full of surprises.
Ubisoft is also expected to use Red as a springboard for the launch of Assassin's Creed Infinity, a centerpiece of the Assassin's Creed universe. Infinity will contain a modern-day storyline connecting different settings that have appeared in the game series.
To enable this feature, the entire product series will move to a unified engine called Anvil Pipeline. This will help streamline the development process and also unlock next-generation graphics advantages.
Please look forward to the Ubisoft Forward 2024 event on June 10 and update the latest information about Assassin's Creed.
