The Anytime One Piece announcement was made as part of the anime’s 25th anniversary celebration. In those 25 years, One Piece has spanned 1080 episodes and 15 theatrical films. The latest One Piece film: Red is the most successful film in the series, grossing more than $200 million worldwide. To commemorate One Piece’s iconic tenure, a special commercial aired in episode 1080, bringing together everyone involved in the One Piece franchise, including the star of the live-action One Piece , Mackenyu (Zoro). There will be further announcements and projects.
Since fans in Japan will soon get the option to watch One Piece from the beginning, it’s worth noting that the manga is entering its final story arc with the Egghead arc right after the Wano arc, which is currently taking place in the anime. Volume 107 of the manga covering chapters 1077 to 1088 of the Egghead arc goes on sale November 2, and you can get a first look at the new cover here.
Fans can catch up on the previous Wano season via Crunchyroll, which describes the season:
The nation of Wano is under the control of Kurozumi Orochi, Kaido of Yonko, and his Beasts Pirates. The Straw Hats form an alliance with the Heart Pirates, Weasel Tribe, and Kozuki Clan to liberate the Land of Wano, but when old enemies reappear, their mission becomes much more difficult.
Luffy, after facing defeat at the hands of Kaido, is locked up in Udon Prison, where a surprising member of the Worst Generation is also being held! Meanwhile, Robin had the opportunity to secretly spy on Shogun Orochi of Wano as the rest of the Straw Hats and their allies began carrying out the coup attempt they planned to carry out on the night of the Fire Festival.
Luffy’s journey takes him and his group to the ruins of Oden Castle, where Kin’emon tells them about his past and his plans to fight at Onigashima. The Straw Hats seek allies in Wano Country, but Kaido will not let them operate freely under his strict supervision.
