The production team for the television anime adaptation of Takemachi’s Light Novel Spy Classroom revealed on Friday that the Anime will have a Season 2 that will premiere in July. The staff revealed a teaser video and an image. intro for Season 2.
The first season premiered in Japan on January 5.
The cast continues to participate in Season 2 including:
- Sora Amamiya as Lily
- Yuichiro Umehara as Klaus
- Miku Itō as Grete
- Nao Toyama as Sibylla
- Aoi Yūki as Monika
- Sumire Uesaka as Thea
- Ayane Sakura as Sara
- Tomori Kusunoki as Annett
Keiichiro Kawaguchi will return to direct the anime at studio feel., and Shinichi Inotsume will continue to oversee the series’ scripts. Sumie Kinoshita continues to design the characters.
The story is described:
After a brutal military conflict, the nations waged war in the dark. A peculiar spy, Klaus, never fails to do his job despite his quirks. He had already started building an army to take on a Mission: Impossible — with over 90% chance of failure. However, the members he selected were all inexperienced. They’ll have to use every trick in the book to prove they’re up to the task!
Takemachi launched the light novel series illustrated by Tomari in January 2020. Kaname Seu launched the manga adaptation in Monthly Comic Alive magazine in May 2020.
