The anime adaptation of the Solo Leveling manhwa has been breaking records everywhere since its premiere in January. However, the latest episode is not one to celebrate. Its compilation episode (recorded as episode 7.5) became the most disliked episode on Crunchyroll. So far, this episode 7.5 has a total of over 64,500 dislikes, while it only has about 30,600 likes. In fact, the number of dislikes is more than double that of likes.
This is understandable, because Solo Leveling will only have a total of 12 episodes, and the episode broadcast right after episode 7 (considered the best episode of the series to date) is highly anticipated, so The vast majority think it is unnecessary, even annoying.

Previously, news of the new episode delay continued to fuel debate online, with many fans expressing disappointment and worry about the future of the Solo Leveling anime.
Although there are also concerns that, like other A-1 Pictures series in the past, this is a sign of problems with production. Even so, the movie won’t really be negatively affected, at least for now.
Crunchyroll CEO Rahul Purini revealed in a recent podcast that his company submitted the “Solo Leveling” manhwa to Aniplex (a Japanese anime and music production and distribution company). “Our team read the manhwa, liked its content, and so we actually gave it to one of our sister partners in Japan – Aniplex – and co-produced the film with them” , Purini said.
