The production team of the television anime adaptation of the Light Novel Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon (Jidōhanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyū ni Samayō) revealed on March 7, 2023 that the anime will premiere in July. The staff also revealed the main cast, main staff, a promotional video and an image.
The anime stars Jun Fukuyama as Hakkon (Boxxo) and Kaede Hondo as Lammis.

Noriaki Akitaya is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Tatsuya Takahashi is overseeing the film’s script, and Takahiro Sakai is adapting Yūki Hagure’s original designs into animation. Slowcurve Co., Ltd. are producing anime.
The story is described:
A middle-aged man with only one passion in life got into a traffic accident. This is perhaps an end, but instead, this is where his story begins as he reincarnates into what he most admires in life – a vending machine! But his new lease of life (?) happens in the worst possible place – what can a vending machine do in a dungeon full of monsters when he can’t speak or even move on his own ?
Hirukuma began serializing the manga on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in March 2016, and ended the manga in December of the same year, with an epilogue serialized from January to February 2017. Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko began publishing the novel in print with illustrations by Itsuwa Kato, starting with the first volume in July 2016. The third and final volume was published in February 2017.
Kunieda launched a manga adaptation of the novel in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in August 2021.
