For the peace of the human world, the Saenome family was born to lead the souls to their world.
Kunato Hyouma, a member of the clan, has a deep grudge against Tsukumogami, because one Tsukumogami stole something very important to him. Fearing that Hyouma’s anger and roughness in dealing with spirits might lead to bad luck, his grandfather sent him to live in Kyoto with Nagatsuki Botan, a girl who lived in harmony with Tsukumogami as a such family. Will Hyouma learn to control his emotions in the face of the Tsukumogami, or will his soul be haunted by rage forever?
