During the NBC Universal Japan Anime Industry panel at Anime NYC 2024, the anime adaptations of Yahoko's Firehead and A Wild Last Boss! were announced. The first key visual for “Black Winged Tyran” Lufas Maphaahl was revealed during the announcement. J-Novel is publishing the novel in English.
Author Firehead commented:
It's being animated! It sounds really cool. I was hoping it would happen someday, but I thought it would be in a world far away. But now it's not just a fantasy in my head that I can't show anyone.
