Polygon’s massive new survey of anime audiences has revealed respondents’ most popular anime streaming services in the United States — with some obvious surprises for Gen Z and Gen Z fans. Millennials.
A new Polygon study conducted by Edwin Wong and Sebastian Fernandez surveyed more than 4,000 Americans over the age of 18 about how they consume anime. The research was conducted in collaboration with The Circus in August 2023 and revealed that while Netflix was the top destination for anime viewers among survey respondents, the rest of the list can be surprising. Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and Crunchyroll make for the hottest anime shows
