Yen Press is releasing the novel in English and describes the story:
Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou is the “lonely princess” of Seiren Private Academy. She is a half-Russian beauty with silver hair, top of her class, the student council accountant, and…completely unapproachable. For some reason, she is also responsible for reprimanding the slacker who sits next to her in class. Masachika Kuze often gets on her nerves by oversleeping, forgetting his textbooks, and just being a bad student. Or at least, that’s what it looks like from the outside. She may appear tough, but she doesn’t mind Masachika as much as others think. She even lets him call her by the nickname Alya. Anyone who hears the comments she mumbles in Russian can tell how she really feels, but since no one in the class understands the language, she can freely say whatever she likes! Except…there is one person who knows what she’s talking about. Masachika eavesdrops on her embarrassing revelations, pretending to know nothing, while wondering what her flirting really means!
Kadokawa publishes the novels under its Sneaker Bunko label and will publish the seventh volume on August 30. Saho Tenamachi (Shōsetsu no Kami-sama; Itsuka, Nemuri ni Tsuku Hi) launched a manga adaptation in October 2022 on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app.
The anime adaptation of the light novel series premiered on July 3 and aired on 24 channels across Japan. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs and is also streaming the English dub.
