All Might explains his transformation is like flexing one’s muscles, and that due to the severe injury he suffered in All for One, the amount of time he was able to maintain his muscular form own has been reduced. That would seem to imply that trauma was the cause of All Might’s return to his true form, but the truth is that All Might has had to transform ever since, as shown in the My Hero Academia Vigilantes prequel series .
Where can all get his transformation from?
In chapter 92 of Vigilantes, All Might is about to go to sleep and he is neither in his muscular form nor in his sickly skeleton-like form. Instead, All Might has a healthy-looking, normal-sized body, as this scene takes place before he was injured in All for One. That confirms that All Might always transforms into his muscular form to do heroic work, while in his normal form when he’s not in public. The question is how can All Might transform like this? Fans now know all the Quirks in One for All, and there are no switching Quirks from any previous users. Midoriya also does not transform when using One for All like All Might, raising many questions.
All Might himself is said to be Powerless, just like Midoriya, but his transformation doesn’t seem to have come from One for All. After all, is it possible that All Might has a Quirk that allows him to transform? Some characters are said to be powerless, such as One for All’s original user Yoichi Shigaraki, which is eventually revealed to have an undetectable ability.
