Adult Swim’s Toonami will release newly remastered episodes of the first original anime, Immortal Grand Prix.
Toonami posted an announcement on Facebook detailing the November 4 evening lineup, which will include “The Final Chapters Part 1” of Attack on Titan and an hour of Discotek Media’s high-definition remake of Immortal Grand Prix series. Immortal Grand Prix is Cartoon Network’s first original anime, produced in collaboration with Production IG, the producer of notable works such as Ghost in the Shell and Haikyu!!.
Immortal Grand Prix was first released as a mini-series in 2003 and was later renewed for two full seasons spanning from 2005 to 2006. The show is set in a futuristic world where teams of control large, customizable machines to compete at high speeds. racing and fighting events. The story follows Team Suzaku, a group of young underdog pilots competing in the 12th Immortal Grand Prix finals in the year 2035.
What happened to the Immortal Grand Prix?
This anime series has become famous for its 2D and 3D animated action scenes and the way it integrates racing and mechanical combat. It is also one of the earlier anime created specifically for Western audiences. The remastered episodes come from Discotek Media’s recently announced Blu-ray release. This release features a higher resolution of the full Immortal Grand Prix series, including full seasons and possible extras, although Discotek Media has stated that these are yet to be published. grant approval.
