Demon Slayer’s Tanjiro will be hitting fan screens on the morning of April 9 for the epic premiere of the “Swordsmith Village” season.
Crunchyroll has confirmed the simulated launch time for the highly anticipated “Swordsmith Village” of the Demon Slayer. Premiere with an hour-long early screening from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PDT on April 9. Subtitled in English, Spanish, Castilian, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Russian and Hindi. Crunchyroll will produce and release dubs for English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Hindi in the future.
Two fan-favorite characters are absent from season 3
Some Demon Slayer fans may have seen the first episode when the series began its world tour where the members greeted fans and the final two episodes of the “Amusement Zone” season were shown with Episode 1 of “Swordsman Village”. Aside from a few scenes from the first episode, Tanjiro’s friends Inosuke Hashibira and Zenitsu Agatsuma will not appear in this special as Tanjiro will be setting off on his own to the swordsmith village.
When Tanjiro arrives in the village hoping to fix his broken sword, he discovers that there are other Demon Hunters there. Not only does he find Mist Hashira, the quiet Muichiro Tokio, and the cheerful Love Hashiro, the cheerful Mitsuri Kanroji, there he also unexpectedly finds Genya, a mean killer who likes to stick to his own devices. Their peace did not last long when two of Muzan’s Twelve Kizuki, Hantengu and Gyokko, appeared with the intention of destroying the village. Crush the village and its swordsmiths, and the Demon Slayers are powerless without their blades.
Created by Koyoharu Gotoge, Demon Slayer follows a kind-hearted boy named Tanjiro, who discovers his family was destroyed one day when a demon kills everyone except his sister Nezuko. Nezuko may have survived the carnage, but a far more terrible fate befell her: the ancestor of all youkai, Muzan Kibutsuji, turned her into a demon. Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps in hopes of becoming stronger to defeat all the demons under Muzan and find a way to save his sister. The series began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Jump in February 2016 and ended in May 2020. After the first season aired, produced by ufotable, manga sales skyrocketed and there were over 150 million copies in circulation as of February 2021. The first season of the anime premiered in April 2019, with the sequel Mugen Train in October 2020. The second season aired in October. year 2021.
