When it comes to Greek mythology, gamers can easily think of famous games like Hades, God of War and many other names.
But just recently, a super annoying game has appeared on Steam, also inspired by Greek mythology. Notably, although it was released on September 10, up to now, no player has been able to overcome all the challenges of the game.
The game is called Pushing It! With Sisyphus.
For those who don't know, Sisyphus was a cunning Ephyran tyrant who committed countless crimes. The ancient Greek gods were extremely angry at Sisyphus' actions and banished him to hell as a rock pusher. And Pushing It! With Sisyphus is also inspired by this story. In the game, gamers will play as Sisyphus rolling a boulder up a large hill endlessly. More importantly, it is not a simple straight or steep path but is also designed with countless annoying obstacles.
The game uses countless tricks to trick the player, causing Sisyphus to fail in his stone-rolling job. And every time he falls, the game screen will display “taunting” lines from the developer himself before Zeus shocks the player back to life to begin Sisyphus' eternal torment. And Pushing It! With Sisyphus is definitely difficult and frustrating to the point that no one has ever overcome all of its challenges.
Pushing It! with Sisyphus is available on Steam, and the description notes: “There is an ending. You just can't do it” – a provocative challenge from the developer. The game has also received mostly positive reviews from gamers, although no one has yet won it.
