Black Myth: Wukong is a long game, with a playtime of around 30-40 hours, depending on how much side content you choose to explore.
And despite having such a long duration, currently, there are quite a few people who have cleared Black Myth: Wukong just over two weeks after the game was released. However, even after “clearing”, Black Myth: Wukong is still a game with huge replay value and below are the things gamers can absolutely do.
Explore the “Secret Ending” of Black Myth: Wukong
Reaching the standard ending does not mean the game is over or that there is nothing more to discover. Black Myth: Wukong also has a secret ending that players can unlock, but to do so, they need to complete a number of challenges beforehand, which include reaching all the secret areas in multiple chapters and completing a number of optional quests.
Note that you should not unlock New Game Plus mode before reaching this Secret Ending.
Fight secret and optional bosses
Throughout your journey through Black Myth: Wukong, there are a number of bosses that you will often miss. While these encounters may be optional, they are still worth pursuing, as some of them are even better than the main boss fights. Some are well hidden, while others are missed after repeated failures.
Defeating these bosses after completing the game will definitely be great revenge, especially when we have reached the peak of power.
Collect all items
The world of Black Myth: Wukong may not be as vast as Elden Ring, but it's certainly still full of secrets. We may have missed out on a lot of content on our first playthrough, whether it's transformations, spells, weapons, armor, or hard-to-get upgrades. Also, try to unlock all the Journal entries for later rewards.
Replay in New Game Plus mode
One of the greatest satisfactions of replaying a challenging game is easily defeating enemies that once gave us trouble. Also, being able to focus on boss fights without worrying about upgrading your gear anymore. All thanks to New Game Plus mode.
Not to mention, it also offers additional content that wasn't present in our first playthrough with three new weapons, a new gourd (though it had to be unlocked through collecting all the Journal entries in the first playthrough).
