Omoinotake will perform the ending theme song for My Hero Academia Season 7, titled “Tsubomi” (Flower Bud). The band has previously sung theme songs for anime titles such as ONE PIECE and Horimiya. TK from Ling Tosite Sigure will perform the opening theme song “Tagatame”, introduced in the latest trailer.
Kenji Nagasaki is the main director of My Hero Academia 7, while Naomi Nakayama is the director. Yosuke Kuroda is responsible for compiling the series. Hitomi Udashima and Yoshihiko Umakoshi are the character designers. Yuki Hayashi once again composes music. More details about Omoinotake's ending theme song will be announced at a later date, as the My Hero Academia Season 7 anime won't premiere until May 4.
The new season will focus on the Star and Stripe Arc. America's top pro heroes Star and Stripe, voiced by Romi Park, will travel to Japan to aid in the fight against All Might. However, he was ready to counterattack and so was Tomura Shigaraki.
The My Hero Academia anime is based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi that has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The manga was adapted into an anime by studio BONES in 2016. Part 2 aired in 2017, continuing followed by a third season in 2018. The fourth season of the anime series began airing in fall 2019 and ended in winter 2020. The fifth season aired in 2021, while the sixth and latest season aired from October 2022 until March last year. The franchise also has 3 films:
- Two Heroes (2018)
- Heroes: Rise (2019)
- Mission of the World Heroes (2021)
In addition to Season 7, the My Hero Academia franchise will also have a new movie called You're Next. The film is expected to premiere this summer in Japan. A four-episode recap series, titled My Hero Academia: Memories, is currently airing.
