Seiken Gakurin no Maken Tsukai Chapter 29 begins with Selia looking worried and trying to wake Leonis, who is injured. In his weakened state, Leonis could only think how beautiful his familiar Selia was, until he remembered how the demon sword Dainslief had resonated with the monster. This is strange because it can only resonate with the goddess who created it.
Leonis was appalled at the possibility of the goddess reincarnating inside the monster. Suddenly, he begins to dream of a lost memory of him talking to Roselia. Roselia wants him to promise that if she reincarnates as something completely different from her future self, Leonis must kill her with the demon sword.
Leonis is horrified and says he could never do it, but Roselia charms him so he can remember her wish and his promise when the time comes. She also asks him to find her true self with the help of his demon sword after killing the fake reincarnation.
Leonis wakes up in the present to find Selia sucking his blood and returning it with induced energy. Selia reassures Leonis and promises to help him find Roselia.
