The manga I am Behemoth, an S-Rank Monster mistaken for a cat, I Live as an Elf Girl’s Pet by author Taro Shinonome is being adapted into an anime. Shinonome drew a commemorative illustration as part of the announcement.
The anime’s main cast was also announced, including Tasuku Hatanaka as Tama, Riho Sugiyama as the cat version of Tama, and Hinaki Yano as Aria. No staff details were released in writing.

The manga I am Behemoth, an S-Rank Monster mistaken for a cat, I Live as an Elf Girl’s Pet is based on the light novel series written by Nozomi Ginyoku and illustrated by Mitsuki Yano. The light novel was first published in Shosetsuka ni Naro in August 2017 before Micro Magazine acquired the title and published it under the GC Novels label as of March 2018. Meanwhile, the Its manga adaptation was serialized by Hakusensha under the Young Animal Arashi label from March to June 2018. before switching to Young Animal in July 2018.
Yen Press licensed the manga in English, describing the plot as: A proud knight, slain in battle, finds himself alive once again reincarnated in the body of a terrifying giant monster . As if he wasn’t confused enough by this turn of events, apparently the giant bear cubs look exactly like adorable kittens?!
