Date a Live V Key Visual
April 10 is a memorable day for the franchise and Date a Live fans because it’s the day the story begins in volume 1 of the anime, manga, and of course the original light novel. The setting of the series begins on April 1, when Shido meets Tohka, which is also the reason he named her “Tohka”. In kanji, this name is written as “十香”, which means the 10th day of the month. Day in the kanji is written as “日”, but it was replaced by the homophone “香” in Tohka’s name, which means fragrance because they met in spring.

As it turns out, there are only two ways he can stop her from unleashing hell on the world: Remove her by force or appease her… by taking her out on a date and making her fall in love with him!
