Solo Leveling episode 8 review and summary: Jinwoo must get stronger
Let’s get a better understanding in this episode of why Jinwoo is in desperate need of a promotion. He must become as strong as possible and that as soon as possible because he needs that elixir of life so he can finally save his sick mother. His mother is suffering from a strange illness that puts her in an eternal sleep, and only with the help of a miracle drug can she wake up.
But to get this elixir, Jinwoo must re-enter the dungeon from the previous episode. This dungeon is not a place you can enter, as there is only one monster in this dungeon that almost killed Jinwoo. Therefore, before making any hasty decisions, he must complete more tasks.
Maybe this is why he approached Jinho and accepted the offer he made in the previous episode. Jinwoo will join Jinho’s guild and he will complete 19 quests. This way, the guild could become a successful guild and Jinwoo would gain the experience and strength needed to complete the dungeon where he would receive the elixir. But things are not so simple. In a C rank dungeon, a guild must have eight people, as it is difficult to complete a quest at that level.
And although Jinho could easily gather 6 more people, the problem was that they would find Jinwoo’s power too strange to keep a secret from the outside world. So, they decided to take the same path as Hwang Dongsuk, who also gathered people just to fill the void. How they will do that is something we will have to see later.
But the highlight of this episode is how the previous gang, whose lives were in danger in the first double dungeon, came together on another mission. Here we see Mr. Song, Juhee, Mr. Kim and Mr. Kang. Things were a bit awkward between everyone because they had all left Jinwoo in that double dungeon to die before. However, there are many other problems besides this embarrassment that are befalling them. I have a feeling this mission won’t be as easy as everyone predicts.
Identify
This episode was once again very good but also lacked intense fight scenes. Here, we get more information about how the hunter association works, how the guilds are actually centers of power, and how they deal with the monster problem on Jeju Island.
And even though we missed the opportunity to act. , not once will you feel bored while being filled with important details that will be very important in the future. From what we saw at the end, I can guarantee that there will be more difficulties in the next episode.
