The second character PV trailer of the Oblivion Battery television anime series has been revealed, featuring player Kei Kaname. The film is scheduled to release in April 2024.
Masato Nakazono (Chainsaw Man’s main director) is directing the film, with Tsuyoshi Iida as assistant director, Michiko Yokote (Tsurune, Call of the Night) as screenwriter, and Hitomi Hasegawa (Dance Dance Danseur) as character designer, Tomoki Kikuya and Hiroko Yamasaki are the composers. MAPPA is in charge of animation production.

Other staff members include Junpei Tatenaka (Ace of Diamond) and Masahiro Tokumaru (action animator Hanebado) as action animation directors.

Oblivion Battery (also known in Japan as Boukyaku Battery) is based on the high school baseball manga by Eko Mikawa, which was first serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform on April 26, 2018. Seventeen tankoubon volumes have been released. running until January 2024.
