The Bleach Tite Kubo’s own companion series, BURNING THE witchis said to be getting a new anime adaptation soon, according to new leaks reported on Twitter.
BURN THE WITCH is Kubo’s first project after Bleach, and was introduced through a one-volume manga in 2018, followed by four more chapters in 2020. The short story was also adapted into an anime in October. 10 in 2020, has achieved pretty good results at the box office. BURN THE WITCH was revealed to be continuing with Bleach, albeit on the other side of the world, and so fans have been eagerly waiting for more since those final four chapters were released. However, the news about BURN THE WITCH has been quiet – or at least for now.
An anime series BURN THE WITCH?
The leak, reported by the rather reliable @WSJ_manga Twitter account, originated on the Chinese Weibo site and claimed that BURN THE WITCH will receive a new, independent anime adaptation of the previous film. Fans recently learned about Tite Kubo’s upcoming Bleach announcement on May 28, whose subject matter is completely unknown at this point. Kubo’s announcement is said to go with a director of the Thousand Years of Blood anime, so many fans were expecting it to have something to do with that, but if this leak is true, it’s. could be about this anime BURN THE WITCH.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that if the leak is true, this is the only thing the announcement will discuss; there’s definitely going to be some info on the second season of the Thousand Years of Blood, and Kubo can always talk about new comic chapters for either Bleach’s Hell or BURN THE WITCH. Since there are only five (admittedly longer) chapters to the adaptation, more BURN THE WITCH manga material will give the anime adaptation a much stronger foundation to work on, ensuring that the series won’t run into trouble. side issues like Bleach himself did in the original anime over 10 years ago. After all, any anime announced on May 28 is likely still more than a year away, giving plenty of time to publish new chapters of the manga before they’re adapted. Kubo even hinted not too long ago that he was drawing new content, though he didn’t say what it was at the time.
If true, news about a The Burn the Witch anime series is sure to be celebrated by Kubo’s fans, especially if its quality is the same as that of Kubo’s. Bleach: The Thousand Years Blood War.
