Merry jingles, sparkling decorations, delicious food and fun times with friends and family — Celebrating Christmas is something many of us look forward to eagerly and sadly. say goodbye. The magic and wonder that Christmas brings feels like comfort, joy and familiarity, and this must be why we also feel happy and giddy when Christmas arrives in a movie. cartoon or movie we are watching. The times we see our favorite characters with bright smiles and sparkling eyes are probably some of our favorite things, so here are some of the best Christmas moments in the anime while we are still waiting for that happy day to come this season.
The disastrous life of Saiki K.
The first scene on the list is one of my favorite Christmas scenes in anime — The Disastrous Life of Saiki K episode 7 of season 1. The first time I watched the Christmas part of the episode, I was immediately excited. encouraged – compared to Saiki, who was bitter about it. Their house, fully, over-the-top, and extremely decorated by his parents, was a slap in the face to Saiki’s hatred of Christmas. Not only that, the overly excited people in the house also made him feel too much to bear. Nendo, who considered himself Saiki’s best friend, told Saiki’s parents that Santa had never visited him before. Even so, he tells them that it’s okay because he has his mother bringing him gifts while he’s sleeping. This scene alone is enough to make us say Awwww, but Saiki’s father, who was dressed as Santa, wanted to let Nendo experience the experience of meeting Santa Claus in person — so he pretended to be one. Santa and even begged Saiki to teleport a reindeer outside their area. home when Nendo shared that he always wanted to meet Santa’s reindeer. Aside from Saiki Kusuo complaining about Christmas, leave the rest of the Christmas episode to Saiki’s parents making it fun, and let Nendo make it wholesome with genuine personalities and life stories. his life. Look at Nendo’s face when he receives the gift from Saiki’s dad, who plays Santa Claus-I never imagined I’d say this, but Nendo looks absolutely adorable in this scene!

Komi cannot communicate
Imagine not being able to communicate with many people, except your family, your whole life. Then comes the person who brings the biggest change in your life just by being your friend, and even gives you the best Christmas you’ve ever experienced. Komi Can’t Communication is another anime that has a lovely and heartwarming Christmas moment. The Christmas episode (episode 16) begins with our best girl Komi thinking that her Christmas will be the same as before, but her most extroverted friend Najimi suddenly calls her. and decided that they would hold a Christmas party with gifts on the same day at Komi’s house. Komi, who is not used to going to the station alone, chooses gifts for others and goes shopping alone, sees her brother and asks him to go with her to the shopping mall. It was certainly a unique experience for the Komis who were unable to communicate, especially during the time they needed to pay for gifts. Many people who love Komi attended the Christmas party, they played games and had fun all day. Komi, who has never had many friends due to social anxiety, couldn’t help but be grateful to everyone and wrote “Please continue to be my friend” in her notebook (which everyone found sweet and moving). Additionally, she received a large black cat stuffed toy from her friends, which truly and definitely made Shoko Komi the happiest girl on Christmas Eve.
Komi Can’t Communication is streaming on Netflix and the plot is described as:

Dr. STONE
Dr. Stone is a science fiction and adventure anime that I’m happy to include here in this Christmas article, because who would have thought that Christmas could still be celebrated in the world of stone, where Something we often use in everyday life doesn’t exist anymore? Besides, who would have thought that our scientific genius Senku would care about celebrating Christmas? The episodes leading up to episode 21, which showed a brief Christmas scene, were all about making things scientific and Senku was 10 billion percent excited in each of them, but nothing prepared us for a heartwarming episode and such festival. Episode 21 begins with the Kingdom of Science creating a hydroelectric generator to generate power, a battery to store the energy created by the water wheel, and a light bulb to bring light to the village. Senku could have just chosen to use the bulbs somewhere else first, but he placed them on the tree and gathered everyone at night. As snow begins to fall, Senku turns on the lights and the tree is lit by bright lights that Suika compares to twinkling stars. The light not only literally brought light to the villagers’ homes, but also symbolized the beginning of civilization. It even made Gen feel like he was back in the modern world. When Senku told craftsman Kaseki that they had finished the bulbs just in time, Gen realized it was Christmas day. Senku, being Senku, told Gen that it was just a coincidence, but Gen saw right through him and knew that Senku actually intended to celebrate Christmas in this new world. Honestly, the time, materials and effort they put into making the bulbs were all worth it, seeing everyone in the Kingdom of Science become amazed and filled with wonder when the lights lighting up. What a memorable day.

Horimiya
Another anime with a Christmas episode that has continuously made us feel warmth, love, and joy is Season 1, Episode 12 of Horimiya titled “For now, and forever.” In this charming and fun episode, the relationships of our favorite characters like Yuki and Toru, Kakeru and Remi, Hori and Miyamura, and even Miyamura’s adorable relationship with Hori’s family are all noticed. A funny moment in this Christmas episode is when Hori’s dad Kyosuke and her brother Sota are trying *so hard* to invite Miyamura to their house on Christmas day to celebrate with them. It leads to Kyosuke saying that it’s okay for his stepdaughter Hori to not be there, but Miyamura must be. It just shows how beloved Miyamura was by the Hori family. In later scenes, Kyoko Hori can be seen telling her father that Miyamura would not be able to join them but would bring the cake later. Thinking that Miyamura would stay, her parents lit up with excitement. Of course, things immediately changed when Hori said Miyamura would only be at the entrance. This causes Hori’s mother to say that their family will be very lonely this Christmas. When Miyamura arrived to deliver the cake, Hori’s entire family was there to greet him at the entrance. Again, with great persuasion from Hori’s family, the troubled Miyamura stayed there for an hour, and as he left with Hori, Kyosuke and Sota were seen putting on their shoes in hopes of being able to took Miyamura to their bakery. Of course, the main highlight of this episode is Hori telling Miyamura that she still wants to be with him after they graduate, to which Miyamura responds with a completely unexpected answer- “Let’s end kiss.” Let me tell you, I was internally screaming while watching it. There’s no doubt about it – this charming and fun episode gave us all the *feelings* that make it one of the best Christmas moments in anime.
Horimiya is streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix, and the following page describes the plot as follows:

The icy guy and his cool female colleague
To be honest, this entire anime feels like Christmas, but the Christmas Day episode that appears in the series makes us wish for a charming, romantic, and magical Christmas like that of Fuyutsuki-san and Himuro-kun. The Ice Guy And His Cool Female Colleague’s Christmas episode, episode 8, begins with Himuro-kun buying snowflake earrings for Fuyutsuki-san and hoping she will like them. Komori-san then invites them to go skiing for Christmas and throws a Christmas party afterward. Just thinking about the idea of skiing with Fuyutsuki made Himuro blush. When the day of the skiing trip comes, Himuro can’t believe that he is experiencing such a big event in his life, skiing with the person he likes. Himuro was often nervous and even wanted to make puns because he was so excited. After skiing, they decided to go to the mountaintop lodge to eat curry but were surprised to suddenly meet Himuro-Kun’s sister there. Yukimin, Himuro’s younger sister, recognized Fuyutsuki and even almost told her about how his brother always talked about her. This Christmas episode also did not forget to bring us romance and excitement, because afterwards, they held a takoyaki party, and even took a walk outside that night with romantic bright lights and a Christmas tree. fully decorated makes the place come alive, and Himuro-kun finally gives Fuyutsuki-san a gift in front of the light-filled tree (though it’s not the snowflake earrings he bought because I thought Fuyutsuki wouldn’t like it). Near the end of the episode, we can see Himuro-kun having a flashback to when he was thinking too much about what to give her, but luckily Fuyutsuki brought him back to reality by saying that the blanket that he gave her was warm, and Himuro blushed. when she appreciates the gift. Just like other Christmas moments, this episode also made us say Awww! and a bit of a “I wish I were her” moment.
Netflix and Crunchyroll are streaming the anime, with the former describing the plot as:
The new hire – a descendant of snow spirits that can cause blizzards when provoked – is affectionate with his aloof, but also curious, colleague.
