Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed the announcement trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, the latest installment in the arena fighting series Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi, at The Game Awards.
The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, although no specific release date was provided.

The original Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi, known as Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! in Japan, launched in 2005 for PlayStation 2.
Its sequel, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Neo in Japan), was released in Japan in October 2006 and globally in November 2006 for PlayStation 2. , with a Wii version launching in 2007.
The third installment, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Meteor in Japan), launched for PlayStation 2 and Wii in Japan in October 2007, arriving in North America and Europe in November.
